Authorized Internet Retailer

• Your manufacturer's equipment warranty will be honored...  Since most manufacturers require "proof of purchase" (in the form of a dated invoice from an Authorized Retailer), they'll normally disregard requests for warranty coverage if the item was purchased from an unauthorized source.

• You'll know your equipment was intended for use in the US market and isn't a "gray market" unit...  Gray market units may look like those meant for sale in the US, but they may not meet the same performance specifications.  They may be unsafe, since they're not likely to be UL listed.  All or some of the accessories, normally included with US models, may be lacking.  Also, they may be difficult or even impossible to repair.

• You benefit because many manufacturers provide Authorized Retailers with thorough, ongoing training...  Manufacturers make sure Authorized Retailers have knowledge about the products they sell and that they typically are informed of any product recalls or equipment modifications.  You can take comfort in knowing that an Authorized Retailer will pass on to you any important information they receive.
